Will Stop Chew damage paint on doors?
Stop Chew shouldn’t damage paint. We recommend spraying a small amount in an inconspicious spot to test.
My dog is still chewing even though I have applied the Stop Chew as per the instructions. Why is this happening?
The active ingredient in Stop Chew is Denatonium Benzoate, which has the bitterest taste known to humans and animals. However, some studies suggest that a very small population of cats and dogs may not be affected by it. In this instance, we recommend using Aristopet Animal Health Household Repellent (see previous page). Although it can’t be sprayed directly on your pet, it can help deter them from chewing on your household furniture.
