My elderly dog has had the shakes a few times. This isn't normal for the, what might be causing it?
This could be behavioural in that your dog may be becoming a wee bit more anxious as it gets older, losing its eyesight and hearing so it's not as confident in itself. Or, there could be a medical reason for this. If the shaking persists, it would pay to go and get it checked out by the vet for peace of mind.
