It may be that your pet is being picky, but it could be an indication that there's some underlying issues going on with your pet and, it would pay to get the vet to check that out just to make sure there's nothing going on.
Cats are notoriously fussy and can become quite picky, so if that's the case, try some different wet foods with the dry food and see if that helps.
